Barnes Film Festival 2020 may be over, but that doesn’t mean creativity can rest! In fact, we’re open again for submissions from 1st August 2020. This is, of course, for next year’s event.

Before then, check out our 2020 BFF competition winners to find a little bit of inspiration. Abid Khan claimed top honours in our UK Feature Fiction. He said:
We’re honoured to be part of BFF a festival that provides a great launchpad for debut filmmakers with their amazing patrons, judges and fantastic curation it’s a festival that is quickly becoming a leading light in the UK film industry. The passion of the BFF team to deliver an outstanding event is evident in their great support for filmmakers and by creating memorable festival experiences that educate, connect and inspire.
So, it’s an opportunity to show what you’re capable of. But in a supportive environment where you can learn and continue to improve your craft.

Just to note, we’ll also be hoping to hold the event as normal in 2021. This year’s BFF was a digital only event (for obvious reasons), so we’ll see how that progresses.
But, fingers crossed, you’ll be joining us at the real event in time for early summer 2021.
