The aim of our festival is to promote, encourage and support emerging talent in filmmaking. This means helping to develop not only the filmmakers taking part in the festival, but also those who join us.

The festival is 100% run by volunteers. We count ourselves extremely lucky to count on the support and generosity of many individuals and organisations.  There are various areas where we would welcome further support. We have compiled a list, which you can see below, with a brief description of what they are. Please have a look and let us know what you would be interested in doing. You may of course be interested in various areas or something very specific.

There are tasks that need to be done before the festival, others during the week of the festival and there are also things to be done shortly after finishing to wrap up the season.

“I’m not much on rear window ethics”

Our YouTube channel is a key component of the promotion of new talent. Here we showcase the work of films featuring in the festival and those participating in the film competition.

“The more scribbled the name, the bigger the fame”

The Marketing team is in charge of ensuring that what we do reaches our audience and more importantly, to promote the new talent that passes through the festival each year.

“With great power comes great responsibility”

An invaluable resource is our group of technicians who make sure that every event, every screening and workshop run smoothly.

“This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it”

All teams unite here, our organisational chart is highly interactive, all departments collaborate closely and it is all linked by the operations team.
